The station’s prominent position on the Island means that it is very exposed to all types of weather. As our primary role is to watch over the bay and surrounding areas it is imperative that we have good visibility. At present only 3 of the 5 main windows are fitted with washer wiper systems and to be even more effective we would like to have the system updated , modernised and expanded to cover all the station windows.
